Welcome to the Center for Integrative Care. We are a functional medicine and peak performance center in San Diego, CA where we specialize in providing science-based, natural medical modalities for health care problems and for those who want to achieve optimal levels of health. We primarily provide alternatives to surgery and medication.
We utilize a host of different medical modalities with that purpose in mind. This includes bio-medically-based acupuncture, dietary, herbal, and nutritional therapy based on blood tests, hormone panels and other diagnostic tests your medical doctor would prescribe pharmaceuticals, and more.
Now I need to point out that just because something is natural does not mean it’s safe. This is especially true when there are drug, herb, and drug-nutrient interactions. Here at the Center we are highly trained in understanding those interactions, and we work hand-in-hand with the medical community to provide a safe integration of treatments.
We also utilize QEEG Brain Mapping and Neurofeedback, or “brain training.” This technology literally has the ability to stimulate and rewire your brain for optimal performance for issues such as ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, memory loss, traumatic brain injuries, and many other brain-related conditions.
We also provide a specialized therapy for chronic pain and dysfunction, called ARPwave Therapy. This therapy accelerates recovery in a fraction of the time.
Along with our main modalities, we also integrate restorative exercises when necessary such as Tai Chi, Chi Kong, meditation, core body mechanics, and other body-mind exercises to strengthen and support both your body and your mind for optimal health.
